National Aptitude Test in Architecture

National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is being conducted by the Council of Architecture at national level for admission to 5 year B.Arch Degree Course at all recognized institutions across India.

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), is conducted by National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA) which is a body of Council of Architecture, New Delhi in India. The National Aptitude Test in Architecture is a national level examination for admission to undergraduate courses in Architecture.

The NATA 2017 test has been divided into two parts i.e. drawing test and aesthetic sensitivity test. The drawing test will measure the ability to sketch a given object, sense of perspective drawing, understanding of proportion and scale, etc. The aesthetic sensitivity test will be composed of Analytical reasoning, Architectural awareness, Mental Ability, Imaginative comprehension and expression, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who are appearing for the NATA 2018 are advised to check the eligibility criteria of the exam. The details of the eligibility criteria has been mentioned below:

  • Candidates should have completed SSC (class 10th) or equivalent examination to apply for NATA.
  • For B.Arch course, students should have cleared 12th or equivalent exam with mathematics subject.
  • There is not any lateral admission criteria for admission in any stage/year of B.Arch.
  • NATA score card is valid for two years from the year of appearing.

    Basic fundamentals, Memory drawing, 2D Design, 3D composition, Pictorial Design
  • MCQs Preparation
    Paper solving Oral test
